The app has A LOT of glitches. A LOT. Please fix bugs. It's difficult to explain but every time I get into the app it looks like the lights are off but in reality the light is on. Also the smart bulbs and plugs are constantly disconnecting from the app. App is up to date. It is very inconsistent. It does not control smart lights accurately. I have set up routines but they most often do not work correctly. I ended up having to revert back to my Gosund app to set up routines instead.
I also have to retrain my voice model every couple days. Simply stops working. I had high hopes. The voice-controlled smart speaker is aimed at portable devices around the house. Releasing an app for PC for the untargeted demographic would be a waste of time and resources for the Big G.

Overall really appreciate the ability to cast music to groups of devices. I like the new interface with ability to change volume on individual devices playing. We lost ability to change the volume on a speaker group. Please bring that back! The reliability of getting Google home to respond and play is less than great. Sometimes you can't see speaker groups to select.
Other times it just won't play. We hear you, Cody. While we've no news to share on when it will be available again, we know changing the volume of the speaker group is important to you and we'll take this as feedback. My system was installed by ADT, and the system installation left quite a bit to be desired. They lost the "key" to remove the doorbell camera unit from the mount, and I've nearly broken it twice getting it off. And it would have been nice to know Google included a mounting "wedge" to redirect the camera view so half the field of view isn't just the door itself.
But the Google part is great! All I wanted to do is set up a Chromecast and now I have an ad telling you to turn on permission to find nearby devices, that's clearly on, but this brilliantly designed app doesn't recognize it. I expect so much more from the company and I remember Chromecast being something that worked once upon a time and now it's just useless.
